How do I use the Internet to connect with friends and others?- I use the internet to connect with friends and others by using instant messaging (i-m). It’s better to use i-m because it’s faster than email. Email is another way to communicate with friends, when you use i-m the person you are talking has to be online also, but with email they don’t have to be online.
