an 8th Grader in Mr. Allison's New Journalism class at East Bronx Academy for the Future.

I have a lot of things about myself. There are certain things I like in school. There are also certain things I like outside of school.

In school I don't really like the work or classes. I like the fact that I could be with my friends and having fun.

“Friends”

I like to have fun with my friends
My friends in school are Elizabeth, Ashley, and Arlene
We always make fun of Arlene

She likes Arcangel, a reggaeton singer
Arcangel looks like an iguana
Ashley likes DJ Flex and his lips are dirty
Elizabeth is obsessed with Aventura
Arlene is the one with the most anger management problems
Ashley is the most talkative and loudest Elizabeth is the most dramatic
I seem quiet but if you get on my nerves I won’t be quiet anymore
Arlene has anger issues, she gets mad for no reason
Before it was only on certain days when she’s in a bad mood but now it’s all the time
Ashley is talkative and loud because she goes around the school screaming, “Mujeres Del Pueblo”
Elizabeth is the most dramatic because she makes a big deal out of the little things
